The innovative OXYTERRA RS system enables a course of interval hypoxic-hyperoxic training, during which the patient alternately breathes (via a breathing mask) gas mixtures with reduced oxygen content (7-16%) in hypoxia mode, normal oxygen content (21%) in normoxia mode, and elevated oxygen content (25-33%) in hyperoxia mode. The procedure is absolutely safe.
The key distinguishing feature of OXYTERRA RS is its personalized approach. It enables the creation and real-time adjustment of an individual treatment protocol during the procedure, based on the patient’s medical history, current physical condition, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
 
Functional modes for personalized protocols (OXYTERRA RS):
• Hypoxia-Hyperoxia. Standard breathing therapy mode.
• Hyperoxia-Hypoxia (Inversion). Recovery mode for weakened patients. Inversion normalizes saturation before the hypoxic phase and allows training even for complex patients with low baseline saturation, which is not possible with other devices.
• Hypoxia-Normoxia. Mode for patients with contraindications to high oxygen concentrations and for specific training protocols.
• Prolonged Hyperoxia. Enriched-oxygen breathing mode.
• Hypotest. Automatic determination of the individual starting oxygen (%) level for the hypoxic phase.
• Biofeedback. Automated training based on biological feedback (heart rate and saturation control).
