Famos Window-Style Instrument Protectors are single-use products designed to protect small, sharp, delicate, and fragile surgical instruments during sterilization, storage, and transportation. They help prevent sharp instrument tips and edges from puncturing peel pouches, thereby supporting packaging integrity and the maintenance of sterility.

Manufactured from paper, the protectors feature a transparent polyethylene pouch that securely holds the instrument tip in place and prevents it from sliding or becoming dislodged. The transparent window also allows for quick and easy instrument identification.

An integrated anti-lock flap holds hinged or jawed instruments in the open position, allowing steam or ethylene oxide (EO) to reach all instrument surfaces (depending on model).
