Founded in 1970, Bioscientia GmbH is one of the largest purpose-built reference laboratories in Europe and is owned by Sonic Healthcare. With a network of more than 20 laboratories across Germany and thousands of employees. Bioscientia GmbH succeeded to maintain an excellent service provided to all its customers, thus putting it among the pioneers in the IVD industry.

Bioscientia GmbH participates in many national and international quality control programs, thereby ensuring that standards of quality within the institute are following rigorous external scrutiny. Bioscientia GmbH is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), CLIA and ISO 15189 and is a member of the European Association of Reference Laboratories (EARL).
