FAN manufactures 13C and hydrogen breath test analyzers. Main applications are Urea Breath test (UBT) for detection of a Helicobacter pylori infection/eradication and lactose intolerance testing. Other applications are (13C) gastric emptying time, pancreatic lipase activity, liver function, and (H2) fructose intolerance, other carbohydrates and sugar substitutes intolerance, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), orocoecal transit time.

Our technology is leading in the world. We sell to more than 40 countries, a.o. Arabia, USA, China. All our products are developed and manufactured in Leipzig, Germany.

We are certified to EN ISO 13485:2016 (CE) and EEC 93/42. We have US FDA registration for one product and strive for registration of all our products under MDR/IVDR.
